Fōlauga Ualoa

Fōluaga Ualoa is a souped-up, magazine-style version of Fōlauga. The design needed to speak to secondary school-aged students who were reading in gagana Sāmoa. We convinced the client to go to an A4 format which would clearly distinguish it from Fōlauga, and better reflect something the audience might read recreationally.

Skills include: cultural knowledge; working with editors, photographers, illustrators, cultural consultants, and pedagogy experts; quality assurance; intellectual property; prepress.
